Lomond landscapes photography competition
The Lennox Herald has teamed up with Loch Lomond Shores to invite readers to get snapping and take advantage of all our beautiful local scenery to create their very own work of art in the form of a landscape photograph. As well as providing entrants with the opportunity to showcase their talent, we’re also offering a great cash prize for this exciting competition. All entrants will have their photograph displayed at Loch Lomond Shores throughout April and May and a selection of photographs will also be published in The Lennox Herald. There are two categories for entries: The under 16 years old category and the adult category. The prize for the under 16 category is £100 and for the adult category the prize is £100. Winners will also have their photograph published in The Lennox Herald and become part of a permanent photography feature at Loch Lomond Shores. - This competition is for amateur photographers only.
- Entries should be no larger than A3 in size
- Subject matter should be local landscapes ie. Within West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute council areas. There are no further restrictions to encourage diversity of entrant’s photographs.
- Given the nature of this competition, the landscape should be the focus and figures within the composition should be restricted to those that offer perspective.
- All photographs should clearly display name, address, contact numbers/email addresses and category for entry on the reverse.
- Entrants who require their photographs to be returned should include a stamped addressed envelope with their entry.
- Winning entries will be selected week commencing 1st May and winners will be notified shortly thereafter.
- Whilst we would like to offer thanks and provide feedback to all entrants, we are unable to respond directly to individual entrants other than those who submit the winning entries.
